Singapore, 16 March 2009 – NEC Asia, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation will showcase its innovative technology and solutions at the Global Security Asia 2009, held on 17th – 19th March 2009 in Singapore Expo Hall 2.
The NEC Asia team will be demonstrating some of its world-class biometrics solutions for civilian and criminal identifications at booth #805. Grouped into Intelligence, Identification and Investigation categories, these security solutions are some of the results of NEC’s relentless research and continual innovations in the field of biometrics.
Security Intelligence, accurate Identification and timely Investigation solutions are no longer the desires of world’s governmental agencies and leading enterprises – these are now imminent needs essential to boost national security and perk up operational efficiency.
To help enhance national security and cross-border control, NEC will showcase three security intelligence solutions at the exhibition. With experience from successful implementation of the world’s largest biometrics database, NEC will feature its world’s leading Criminal Facial Recognition System (FRS) with Live Video Security Intelligence, Japan Biometric Immigration System and New Generation Immigration Automated Clearance Gate System.
NEC advance biometric technology also enabled personal identification with supreme accuracy and speed. Three such identification solutions presented at the exhibition are IDentiBoard®, CCTV Facial Screening and Muhlbauer ID Card Personalization System.
Finally, as a global leading provider of Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) technology for law enforcement and criminal investigation, NEC will introduce the world’s revolutionary Digital Latent Print (DLP) scanner with Integra-ID™ at the exhibition.
