NEC Asia Pacific Appoints New Managing Director
Singapore, February 13, 2012 – NEC Asia Pacific, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation (HQ: Japan), announced today the appointment of Mr Lim Kok Quee, as its new Managing Director. Kok Quee will assume the leadership of NEC’s business operations in Singapore and will report to Mr Kiyofumi Kusaka, regional CEO at NEC Asia Pacific.
Kok Quee is a veteran in the ICT Industry and has had extensive experience in the APAC region, having held key management positions in several IT organizations prior to joining NEC Asia Pacific. In his previous appointments, Kok Quee has led the strategic outsourcing, setting up of service delivery infrastructure, operation re-engineering and strategic planning and business operations over the years.
Lim Kok Quee says, “I am honoured to be the new member of this established organisation and in order to compete successfully in the IT industry, we must be different, and to do things differently. Doing things differently start by asking ourselves, “What can and should we do differently so that we can bring value, innovation and efficiency to our customers and organisation”.
