NEC Biometric Showcase Wowed the Delegates and Visitors at Global Security Asia 2009
Singapore, 30 March 2009 – NEC Asia, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation showcased its innovative technology and solutions at the Global Security Asia 2009, from 17th – 19th March 2009 in Singapore Expo Hall 2.
During the 3-day event, delegates from some 20 countries across 5 continents visited NEC’s showcase of latest biometric solutions and were impressed by the demonstrations of these solutions. Among the many popular biometric exhibits are the following:

5. New Generation Immigration Automated Clearance Gate System
A customer-centric solution, NEC’s new Generation Immigration Automated Clearance Gate System is a dual-directional gate designed to allow Customers' operations efficiency to cater to the peak hours.
6. CCTV Facial Screening – Airport Aerobridge Video Screening
CCTV Facial Screening allows discreet facial screening against a watch list to take place while passengers walks through the Aerobridge – an enclosed, movable connector that extends from an airport terminal gate to an airplane, thereby enabling passengers to board and disembark without having to go outside.
