NEC Asia Pacific Appoints PTC as its Official Partner in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, 25 February 2011 – NEC Asia Pacific, a leading IT and network solutions provider and systems integrator based in Singapore, and a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation (HQ: Japan) has appointed PTC Computer Technologies (“PTC”; HQ: Cambodia) as its official partner for IT Platform solutions in Cambodia today.

The Memorandum of Understanding for this alliance was signed by Mr David Ooi, Regional Director for Server and Network Platforms at NEC Asia Pacific, and Mr Ung Se, President of PTC Computer Technologies, and this was witnessed by H.E Chun Vat , Secretary General of National Information Communication Technology Development Authority (NiDa).

Mr David Ooi, Regional Director for Server and Network Solutions, NEC Asia Pacific, said, “PTC Computer Technologies has been established in Phnom Penh since 1996, and is now one of the largest distributors with a comprehensive network in Cambodia. NEC hopes to contribute to the growing economy in Cambodia with our latest technologies. We are confident of PTC’s experience in the IT arena and that PTC will be able to extend NEC’s IT products and solutions, and the customer support to our (enterprise) clients in Cambodia.”
