NEC Asia Pacific Strengthens Capabilities with SAP Gold Partner CertificationAims at expanding solutions and services to enterprise clients in the region
SINGAPORE, August 18, 2011 – NEC Asia Pacific (“NEC APAC”), the Asia Pacific regional headquarters of NEC Corporation (“NEC”, HQ: Japan) based in Singapore, announced today it has obtained the “SAP Gold Partner” certification for the SAP Business One application, the SAP Business All-in-One solution, and subscription-based hosting for the SAP Business All-in-One solution. The SAP Gold Partner certification is the highest accolade awarded by SAP to channel partners who fulfill its criteria to service and support enterprise clients using the SAP solutions.
This is in line with NEC’s global strategy announced last year, to collaborate with SAP for various global initiatives, including the launch of pioneering ERP cloud service systems, and the new certification will allow NEC APAC to expand and strengthen its current IT and systems integration portfolio. NEC’s customers in this region can expect a greater variety of enterprise solutions to suit their individual business needs. NEC STEE Cloud Services, the recently established joint venture on Cloud solutions by NEC APAC and ST Electronics will also benefit from this new SAP certification.
