Tokyo, September 28, 2011 – NEC Corporation (NEC) announced today that it will attend Cloud Computing World Forum Latin America on September 28 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. As a Diamond sponsor, NEC will focus on "Monetizing the Carrier Cloud" and will be present at the exhibition to introduce NEC's Cloud solutions.
NEC offers a wide variety of solutions for cloud computing, from network systems for both fixed and mobile telecom carriers, to IT systems for all industries. NEC has installed a range of cloud based systems worldwide, including a cloud computing platform for Telefonica in Spain. In April, 2011 in order to better serve customers in Latin America, NEC established an IT Solutions Competence Center for adopting cloud systems locally at Buenos Aires in Argentina.
During the conference, Fabián Rossi, IT Program Manager, IT Solutions Competence Center of NEC Latin America, will present a keynote speech on “Monetizing the Carrier Cloud” at 11:40. In addition, NEC will organize a panel discussion, “Cloud Forecast-Storm” at 16:30.
