NEC Philippines Appoints New President

MANILA, February 18, 2013 – NEC Philippines, Inc (“NEC Philippines”), a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, welcomes Ms Agnes A. Gervacio as its President, with effect from today. Ms Gervacio will take over for Mr Kiyofumi Kusaka who will focus on his current role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NEC Asia Pacific, the regional headquarters of NEC Corporation in the Asia Pacific region.

 

Agnes has over 15 years of executive and sales management experience in the telecommunications industry, having previously held appointments in sales management, business development and leadership roles in both local and multi-national companies.

 

NEC has been operating in the Philippines since the 1960s, providing telecommunications equipment and solution. Since then, NEC Philippines has expanded into other businesses, such as network and retail solutions, carrier network, public safety solutions, enterprise solutions, and more recently, cloud solutions.
