NEC Vietnam Co., LTD Appoints New General Director

Hanoi, 5 November 2013 – NEC Vietnam Co., LTD (“NEC Vietnam”), a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, announced today that Mr. Keita Ito has been appointed as the new general director.

Mr. Ito began his career with NEC in the Africa Market Division in sales.  Besides having over 20 years of overseas experience in sales, and holding both executive and sales management positions during his professional career, Mr. Ito also served at NEC (UK) Ltd as Sales Manager, the Johannesburg Liaison Office as Chief Representative and at NEC Europe Ltd as Global Account Director. Prior to his appointment as the General Director of NEC Vietnam Co., LTD, Mr. Ito was the Project Director at the Europe, Middle East and Africa Market Division of the Global Business Unit since April 2013.

With his new appointment and responsibilities, Mr. Ito said, “As the new general director of NEC Vietnam, I am honored to be leading the experienced and capable team at NEC Vietnam. NEC Vietnam has been increasing its efforts to provide total solutions and services, such as government and financial solutions and telecommunication infrastructure businesses in Vietnam, while developing high quality software at the same time.  I look forward to working with the team in providing satisfactory solutions to customers and contributing further to the national and economic development of Vietnam.”

Mr. Keita Ito replaces Mr. Takashi Kasai, who has been leading NEC Vietnam Co., LTD since 2012. Mr. Kasai will be moving to the Global Business Unit at NEC Corporation.
