Singapore, 15 September, 2014 – NEC Asia Pacific, a leading IT and network solutions provider based in Singapore, and a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation, has partnered KDDI Singapore Pte Ltd, a subsidiary company of KDDI Corporation, in a computer upgrading project for The Japanese School Singapore’s Changi and Clementi campuses.

NEC Asia Pacific, together with KDDI Singapore will replace existing student computers with NEC’s notebooks. The project is aimed to support The Japanese School Singapore’s focus on ICT learning across the primary and junior high levels. Primary school students utilize computers in a variety of subjects like English, Japanese, Math and Science for approximately 30 to 40 hours per year. The school also promotes the development of computer literacy and the effective use of computers in all subjects for junior high students.
