BANGKOK, 28 September 2015 – NEC Corporation (Thailand) recently organized a conference to introduce its total solutions targeted at the hospitality industry. Held at the W Hotel Bangkok on 14 August 2015, more than 85 guests attended the event to know more about the various solutions offered by NEC.
Mr. Artiphot Ketkeaw, AVP NEC Corporation (Thailand), delivered the keynote speech, and spoke about the company’s commitment and its focus on delivering solutions for the hospitality industry. He also gave an overview on the trend to improve guests’ experience. He said, “We are seeing an uptrend in travel and tourism services in various parts of Asia and many businesses see a need to upgrade their software and infrastructure to increase operational efficiency so as to better service their guests. At NEC, we are committed to deliver success to our customers and we hope that participants will find the conference beneficial when looking for a solutions provider for their businesses.”
During the conference, Mr. Takeo Orui, Assistant General Manager of Smart Networks Division, NEC Corporation, highlighted NEC’s new concept “Smart Hospitality Solutions”, a portfolio of integrated solutions which aims to enhance guest experience while increasing the efficiency of hotel operations. He also spoke on how NEC’s innovative range of hospitality solutions can solve challenges faced by the industry so as to streamline processes and help increase staff productivity. He also mentioned customer success stories in the region, explaining how NEC’s ICT solutions were able to solve market challenges that companies were facing and drive company’s growth.
The conference also showcased NEC’s innovative solutions and technologies for businesses in the hospitality industry. These solutions include Face Recognition and Display Solution, Virtual Menu, Intelligence Room Control, Virtualized Hotel Telephony, Hotel Software, Telephony, Contact Center for Hotel Business and Collaborative Conference.
