Singapore, 12 November 2012 - Already enjoying a strong foothold in the market as a leading manufacturer of projector solutions, NEC continues to make an impression with the brand new M Series, which includes models M361X, M311X, M271X, M311W and M271W. Practical, affordable yet offering all the features typically found on mainstream projectors, these latest additions to the NEC family are the perfect choice for schools, offices and other users who operate in smaller venues.
Though retaining the essence of the existing M Series models, the new line of projectors have definitely moved a few steps ahead in performance and eco-friendliness. The brightness ratio have, for example, been improved by 100lm from earlier models, while the contrast ratio have increased from 2000:1 to 3000:1. Also welcome news is the extended lamp life of up to 10,000 hours when on Eco mode, depending on the model in question. With a host of other new eco-friendly features also on board, the new M Series promises to be even more gentle on the environment, while delivering better image quality, improved operability and reduced total cost of ownership (TCO).
With connectivity becoming a must for most office equipment, the new M-Series also thoughtfully includes versatile software tools that allow for wireless data transmission from tablets and mobile phones employing Apple devices such as iPhones and iPads that use IOS and for Desktop PC/Notebook with Windows or MAC OS. Another interesting development is the arrangement of connectors on the top of the unit, allowing the user to find their positions, while the larger operation keys are definitely easier to use – such details can sometimes make a big difference.
NEC's concern for the environment continues to show in the many eco-friendly features that are built into the M Series. An Auto Eco Mode automatically adjusts brightness to suit the projected image, saving up to as much as 30% in power consumption. When no signal is being input, the projector will use as little as 25% of power, depending on the background mode you choose. Also useful is the carbon meter, which makes it easy to know just how much CO2 emission you are cutting down whenever you go on Eco Mode.
All projectors in the new M Series also come with trademark NEC features that make them all easy-to-use, cost-effective, and friendly to the environment:
- Wide optical zoom ( x1.7 )means flexible installation anywhere
- Wall Colour Correction for vivid images even without a screen
