NEC introduces robust and compact 5000 lumen laser projectors
Singapore, 1 December, 2015 – NEC Asia Pacific has launched the new lamp-free 5000 ANSI lumen laser phosphor projectors P502WL and P502HL offering highly reliable and bright projection ideally suited to today’s changing learning and conferencing environments and for large venues.
The new P-series laser projectors offer significant benefits of Solid State Light Source (SSL) technology, and user value the benefits of cost-savings and high uptime as it removes the need for lamp replacement and allows up to 20000 hours maintenance free operation.
The strength of laser phosphor projectors is their limitless ability to support applications in a variety of industries – higher education, corporate, rental & staging, large enterprises, network operations centers, amusement places and other sectors where digital signage benefit is required. The benefits of the P502WL and P502HL projectors also extend to other situations where long operating hours, constant brightness and color consistency are the key.
In addition to the benefit of SSL technology, the new P502WL and P502HL offer professional functionality of interactivity and collaborative features by using the wireless contents sharing enabled with Image Express Utility Light and Wireless Image Utility software. Display information from up to 50 PCs, tablet PCs, smart phones and other network devices can be connected and up to 16 people can view share-content. Presenter can switch projector screen between participant’s content. Miracast technology can also shoot images from mobile devices to be shared with the projector.
Investments for any industry are future-proofed thanks to the multiple inputs via built-in HDBase-T and dual HDMI inputs and connectivity options including the advanced wireless options. Installation flexibility is offered through a large 1.7x optical zoom, vertical and horizontal lens shift and keystone corrections, geometric correction, tilt-free and portrait mode and 3D support.
P502WL is 5000-lumen with WXGA resolution and P502HL is 5000-lumen of 1080 resolution.
