NEC unveils enhanced P Series semi-installation projector range for higher resolution and better performance

Singapore, February 01, 2018
– NEC Asia Pacific today announced the launch of 6 new types of projector – P554UG, P474UG, P554WG, P474WG, P604XG and P603XG – in its P series LCD professional range in XGA, WXGA and WUXGA resolution. These latest projectors in the P Series range are designed especially for entry-grade installation environments such as corporate boardrooms and higher education classrooms.

Education institutions and companies have high expectations for projectors to offer vast performance and reliability. With these latest models, NEC Display now delivers high resolutions in the 4,700- 6,000 ANSI lumen range and vivid colours thanks to its LCD technology ensuring presentations are clear and visible, with high contrast ratio of up to 20,000:1, ensuring companies and schools have more options.

In addition to high brightness, the new addition of projectors offers advanced Eco features that help to lower operating costs and increase lamp life up to 8,000 hours. With wide zoom and horizontal and vertical lens shift along with cornerstone and pincushion adjustment, the new models ensure that the image can be easily optimized on the screen. These projectors, which are compatible with existing mounting equipment, are the ideal replacement for customers wishing to upgrade their technology to the latest standards but without incurring additional installation efforts in order to save time and resource.

Cost-efficient installation options are increased with support for all-in-one HDBaseT* connection. Using this powerful cable option, high-definition video and audio can be transferred to the projector from up to 100m away using Cat 5e or higher LAN cable.

*Excluding P603XG projector.

Among the other benefits of the P Series projectors:

- Variety of inputs and outputs, including Dual HDMI and HDBaseT and Network Function

- Highly flexible geometry controls for image manipulation on curved and irregular surfaces

- Quick and auto function for ease of use

- HDBaseT input, which supports Cat6 network cabling up to 100m, offering reduced installation costs

- Lenses covering x1.7 zoom ranges, a vertical and horizontal lens shift mechanism provides greater installation flexibility

- Convenient Utility Software (User Support Software)
