Indonesia and Philippines, 07 May 2021 – NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (NEC APAC) has announced the following changes effective 01 April 2021.

Mr. Joji Yamamoto has been appointed the new President Director of PT NEC Indonesia (NEC Indonesia). Prior to his appointment, Mr. Yamamoto was the President of NEC Philippines, Inc. (NEC Philippines). Mr. Yamamoto brings with him over 20 years of experience in Asia’s ICT industry, which included his time in NEC Corporation Thailand for 4 years.

Mr. Yamamoto is not a stranger to NEC Indonesia. During 1995 – 2002, Mr Yamamoto was part of NEC Indonesia’s Carrier Business where he gained valuable experiences and knowledge of Indonesia’s business landscape.

Commenting on his new role, Mr. Yamamoto said, “I am honored and excited to come back and lead NEC Indonesia in this new normal. We are witnessing the rise of digital economies around the world, and Indonesia is also making rapid progress in its digitalization. I am eager to work and meet with our local partners and customers in the coming months so we can co-create solutions to succeed in this digital age.”

Mr Koichiro Koide, President & CEO of NEC APAC, will concurrently act as President of NEC Philippines and oversee its operations in the interim.
