Singapore, 19 September 2019 – NEC Asia Pacific today announced that it has been conferred the 2019 Singapore Managed IT Infrastructure Services Provider of the Year (Public Sector) by Frost & Sullivan.
The award recognizes NEC’s leading position in delivering managed IT infrastructure services for Singapore’s public sector customers. The steep growth NEC showed in the market for the past 12 years and its unique innovations, such as intuitive AI-enabled chatbot, were highly evaluated by the research firm.
NEC grew its customer base and revenue in the managed IT infrastructure services for Singapore’s public sector by 30% during the assessed period, demonstrating significant success in the space. In addition to NEC’s highly customizable services, its emphasis on customer experience and high service delivery standards sets them apart in the industry.
With prevalence of data breaches and privacy leaks increasing by the day, NEC’s extensive experience in the cybersecurity space provides greater assurances to its customers from the public sector and minimizes their risks.
NEC’s value highlighted in Frost & Sullivan’s analysis include:
Customisable end-user portal - NEC’s highly customisable end-user portal for managed services gives organisations the flexibility to implement interfaces that are unique to each individual department’s needs for IT infrastructure services.
End-to-end security audits - NEC’s comprehensive managed service coverage includes end-to-end security audits to help customers assess their IT systems to mitigate and minimise data breaches and leaks. Partnering with external providers for an unbiased audit, NEC is able to make recommendations on areas requiring improvements in the audit report.
AI-enabled chatbot - Harnessing the power of AI, NEC developed an intuitive chatbot function for its service desk that allows users to get real-time responses to their queries. The chatbot also allows NEC to glean more information on the frequency and other data from these requests, thus giving the company the ability to forecast and optimise its resources effectively to better meet customers’ needs.
“We are honoured to receive Frost & Sullivan’s IT Infrastructure Services Provider of the Year award for Singapore’s Public Sector. This accolade celebrates our achievements in innovating and providing the best-in-class technology and solutions to all our customers. We will continue to develop new and unique IT services to help organizations reduce risks and improve overall productivity,” said Job Chan, Vice President, Managed Services Business Unit, NEC Asia Pacific.
